HABI PROJECT KICK OFF MEETING
Il giorno 19 Ottobre 2023, a Conversano, si terrà il Kick-Off Meeting del progetto HABI - Awareness raising, training, and scientific research activities on species and Habitat of Community interest, di cui il Comune di Mola di Bari è partner.
Il progetto HABI, finanziato dal Programma Interreg Italia-Croazia 2021-2027, mira a valorizzare gli aspetti ambientali e culturali dell'area transfrontaliera, con particolare attenzione alle aree NATURA 2000. Il progetto punta al raggiungimento di un equilibrio tra l’ambiente umano e quello naturale attraverso strategie, workshop e campagne di sensibilizzazione.
Numerosi stakeholders, tra cui i giovani, i professionisti, le PMI e le autorità locali, parteciperanno attivamente alle attività previste. Gli obiettivi del progetto comprendono la conservazione della biodiversità, l'istruzione, la ricerca e il turismo sostenibile, con l'obiettivo finale di migliorare la qualità della vita locale.
La partnership del progetto è completata dal Comune di Conversano, in qualità di capofila, dalla Dubrovnik Development Agency – DURA e dalla Public institution Lokrum reserve.

The Kick-Off Meeting of the HABI project - Awareness raising, training, and scientific research activities on species and Habitat of Community interest, of which the Municipality of Mola di Bari is a partner, will be held on 19 October 2023 in Conversano.
The HABI project, financed by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Program 2021-2027, aims to enhance the environmental and cultural aspects of the cross-border area, with particular attention to the NATURA 2000 areas.
The project aims to achieve a balance between the human environment and the natural one through strategies, workshops and awareness campaigns.
Many stakeholders, including young people, professionals, SMEs and local authorities, will be involved in the planned activities. The project's goal include biodiversity conservation, education, research and sustainable tourism, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of local life.
The partnership of the project is completed by the Municipality of Conversano, as leader, by the Dubrovnik Development Agency - DURA and by the Public institution Lokrum reserve.
